Rockville building named one of the world’s greenest

A Rockville office building developed by The Tower Cos. and Lerner Enterprises has earned an international reputation for being one of the world’s greenest buildings. Green building experts Jerry Yudelson and Ulf Meyer featured 2000 Tower Oaks Blvd. in their recently published book, “The World’s Greenest Buildings: Promise vs Performance in Sustainable Design.” The 200,405-square-foot building, which houses Tower’s headquarters, is just one of 17 in the U.S. and 57 across the globe that were featured.
